The cool(er) is here, and I love the moodiness of it. I posted a piece a friend had posted on Face Book about the word “Pluviophile”- (n) A lover of rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind on rainy days. Not that its necessarily rainy here in Adelaide that much! For me the weather, the big clouds the storms and rain are as great as the clear blue skies. Peaks and troughs of the weather are also of us, all relevant to our unfolding. And I have recently met someone who is possibly more passionate about the weather than me, and travels to see the storms on the other side of the world! I think that is grand.

I find a sense of transformation and quietude as I watch and am in weather! Maybe because I was bought up on the land and lived out in the desert, country Australia that I was a part of something that was defiantly bigger than me, that I became enthralled by its enormity. In the city we are quite protected and what I’ve noticed the weather seems much more or is often talked more as an inconvenience than a wonder!

There is no place to get, we are right here right now, we don’t need to be ‘get happy or abundant (or whatever it is we are searching for)’, but to decide now to be happy & abundant…… Making space for the emotions that we have, as in be there for ourselves rather than escape them. Feel them and move through them, as they will dissipate.

Eckhart Tolle’s book A New Earth, that he wrote a few years, ago talks about the ‘Pain Body’ and how we actually can become addicted to it and that given the choice we can actually want to stay in our sadness and misery! That, who are we without our story? And it may appear that it’s all too much to make any change and so nothing is done and the pain and drama ensue.

There are plenty of tools that assist us in our life when the ‘times feel tough’ in whatever format that it arrives in. Tough and sweet (however you want to name it) are a part of life and working with what you’ve learnt to assist you as you ride a storm is a plus, it will help even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. Then you rise above the situation, can see a bigger picture, not get stuck, or just know that you will soon shift through as meant to be.

Be sweet, be kind, be gentle, be loving, let your light shine onwards and upwards as we travel together in this life.

If you find your life is overwhelming , I am able to help you on your journey and with being open to learning new tools, being aware so they just are a part of your daily routine….But also in working on our ‘Stuff” helps us to maintain our sense of self and authenticity. I look forward to hearing from you as we travel together in this life. I am passionate about the work I do and feel a real honour in assisting those who I work with and get the opportunity to work with.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique is an exciting new modality to enter Australia, which can be performed on both people and animals. Its origins come from Ancient Tibetan, Ancient Egyptian and American Indian bodywork techniques, combined with the power of therapeutic-grade essential oils and massage. Raindrop technique uses Vita-flex, the ancient Tibetan version of foot reflexology. This is performed along the spinal reflex of the feet, in combination with various essential oils. This exotic combination makes for a sensational experience, both giving and receiving, which promotes profound relaxation and balance.
