July Blog 2026
Great July to you!
It’s great to be aware of any changes we might require making to move forward in our lives.
And for whatever reason, and a lot of times of course we are not going to know.
But through life experience, knowing roughly any steps, suggestions, and inspiration to do that will unfold, is a good thing.
I would also suggest that it is through doing any inner emotional work, that we can sense easily, and with more clarity over time, what we may need or not need to be doing to greet and create the changes in our lives.
And while answers come in randomly, and particularly when chaos ensues, there can be order and things for the better arrive too. Big surprises can feel difficult but will change at some point.
Having intentions and ideas of what you would like to do in your life and consciously working on your emotional wellbeing, life flows more with ease, and even if there’s difficulty you tend to be more the observer and not react. It’s not about being perfect and that you won’t ever react in a detrimental manner, you just get better at handling yourself and your emotions.
Because there may be some fear around changes or even feeling exhilaration and a definite this feels good, it does support you through that change. Being in touch with the direction and situation that you would be like to be heading, feels good, however even if it isn’t clear right now opportunity arrives.
With feelings of being unsure, ask yourself is it because you’re not confidant in doing the next step and thus just don’t do it? Or is it, now that you look at what you were feeling pulled to do, that it appears to have many aspects that now do not appeal to you at all?
Which then, things become easier to deal with as it’s a simple no that is not for me. Or if you feel that it is, what is the next stage that you require entering? Or does it hark back to changes previous that come from great upheaval and thus comes with trepidation and fear?
What many of us haven’t been taught, is the experiential aspects of inviting in your next path where you’re embodying creatively and more profoundly by shifting out of the ego. The ego tries to fix things up, which, is with some aspects necessary, however at times that aspect would do better stepping aside rolling with it rather than forcing. Staying out of the making things a drama.
The inner work we do does pull the ego back over time automatically, we become humbler in life automatically, expectations and trusting the path ahead without the huge tumult of fear and worry. We change for the better.
I began as young teenager in times of being alone, to write my feelings down. I might rave on for quite a bit or simply to jot things down in point form. I had never heard of doing this before, it was the 70’s, I just felt I needed to express myself on paper. Like I needed to write my thoughts and that it wasn’t about sharing them with anyone. I was being guided to express myself and it helped me a lot. And I am so glad I listened to that guidance coming in.
The writing could be about anything, and I just know that after writing I felt release and then went onto draw, which could be a scribble type of thing, or it could be something quite realistic. I wasn’t doing it because of being an artist, it was that I felt compelled to do it. Like it was naturally the next step to take. And thus, that was the beginnings of art therapy, it just unfurled itself. My psyche was craving or compelled to express to release and grow in life. I also started to write poetry.
Not only does our body go into healing mode if you’re sick or accidently cut yourself and the like, but it is automatic. And the same is with our emotional state. There is a seeking of wanting to change the feelings of sadness or pain, we want to feel better.
However, there are situations where we can get stuck in emotional states which leaves us open to being and living as a victim. But we are all given the opportunity to change no matter how big or small it is. Through our challenges, our grief and sadness we can, all of us somehow, work with the change that comes upon us and what it is offering, into new territory.
Through writing, drawing, and emotional work, we transform. And ostensibly doing the transformation work, on a regular basis being conscious of our inner self we can weave and integrate things like the creative work, grounding, meditation, yoga, good healthy foods and friends, vibrational medicines like bush essences, getting rid of toxic things in our homes and what we may wear that’s affecting us and the list goes on.
Our job is to move on from and to transform any chaos, upheaval and the like weaving through our lives. A tablet can’t do the work for you. Anxiety and the like are from over thinking and seeing the worst or expecting the worst to occur. There are a lot of reasons to be anxious, a lot of pressure in this material world but right now things are changing and from what I can gather, even though it isn’t appearing that way currently we do indeed have a great future ahead of us.
Despite the treacherous moments we may find ourselves in it is up to us to seek peace within, that’s where it comes from and that comes from along with fun, laughter, appreciating nature and loving each other and asking yourself what’s the lesson I’m learning from the person who annoys me rather than going into all the issues that came up with them that keeps the story going especially if it’s toxic. Explore then release on paper, try it, you will be amazed!
We can’t measure the healing that happens as quite often it’s gradual and over time. You then find yourself with situations resolved, new opportunities arrived, new love and friendships and whatever it was transformed.
Lots of love
Angela
