Great April to you, and to us all. The cool of Autumn is now obvious, the leaves more prominent in their decent to the ground, having done their life cycle on the tree. This is the time of year I love, and I’m sure I say it each year, ‘I love autumn’, such a gloriously exquisite time here in Adeliade.

There’s so much going on in our world, the time in each day feels like it’s moving fast (our world and us are indeed changing and that’s up to you to research) with much to be done. The thing is being calm amongst it all and know that what doesn’t get done today will at some stage, it’s trusting the process. Keeping up the inner momentum to do what’s most important. Staying away from drama stories that can float around in our head. That if you were to, dissect those thoughts you may well find that it isn’t even true. There are solutions somehow.

Fitting in rest time is necessary as we move through these times, and not a force our self to the edge. Patience, trust and being gentle with self is the way.

I love to notice people at some of the places I go to, like the central markets. And I feel compelled at times to mention something that acknowledges what I have noticed about them. It might be clothing that they are wearing or a hairstyle or whatever it might be that stands out that I really like.

I love cars from the 60s or sports cars and I have been known to wind the window down if the person driving the car’s window is down at the lights and let them know I really dig their car. Big smiles ensue in that easy transaction of appreciation.

It’s a conversation and as brief as it might be, that engages and shows honour for another and their choices even though you don’t know them. And in all the years, that I have done this, there’s been less than a handful where what I said was ignored or brushed off. A moment of appreciation of another as opposed to behind their back putting them down or mocking them or being jealous, is truly uplifting and all involved feel great.

It’s an honest and spontaneous thing that happens naturally. If I notice something then in the moment, I choose to acknowledge going on the gut feeling that I get. I don’t do it all the time, but if I feel something stands out that to me looks great and I am feeling in sync with the moment then I will say something.

I also might start mini random conversations while waiting to get off the elevator or the like and that’s often great fun. I’m doing it because I feel compelled to not as a must do.

Sharing and loving being there for another even in this simple capacity is a gesture of kindness and making the effort is valuable. So let me know your thoughts on this and how it helps your thinking and feeling.

I highly recommend the Raindrop Technique as the support system for your health stepping into the cooler months. It is an all-year rounder, but especially now if you’re feeling vulnerable to any lurgies you feel caught up in. Better still, let any stories around being or getting sick go as being proactive with doing things like the Raindrop Technique and eating well are the step up and feel-good tools. There’s no need for fear based getting sick stories as you are onto it.

I look forward to hearing from you and booking you in. And not forgetting the Crystal Light Bed.
